CVFC Academy

 

CVFC Academy registration open for '02 and '03 boys and girls (players born on or between 08-01-2001 thru 07-31-2003).

For players currently participating in the academy summer program, see your coaches for a registration form. For players not participating in the summer program, Registration will be held at the player evaluation.

Player evaluations will be held Saturday, July 9th, at YSC Cornwell fields for all registered Academy players. Players will be grouped into teams where they will grow and improve the most. The '02 Boys will start at 9:00 am. The '02 Girls will begin at 10:30 am. The '03 Girls will start at 12:00 pm. The '03 Boys will begin at 1:30 pm.

Cost for Academy (all money payable to CVFC):
$80 due at registration
After team formation:
$30 per month training fee
Tournament and indoor costs additional.

Players will be required to purchase 2 academy t-shirts (approximately $8-$10 each).

CVFC Academy Soccer is formed from U9 and U10 players from the Mustang Youth Soccer Association and the Yukon Soccer Club. The intent of the program is to accelerate the knowledge and fundamentals of our youth players prior to competitive soccer. This will allow the players to better adapt to the differences between recreational and competitive soccer.

Players enrolled in the Academy program will be selected and placed on teams that will compete in Academy tournaments and play a slate of games against other Academy teams. These players may also form indoor teams to further game-level experience.
